Hard to tell what you've done so far. I take it you have installed the Spotty plugin in LMS. But afterwards have you gone into LMS > Settings (lower right), then the Plugins tag. Once there find "spotty" in the installed plugins list. Then click on "settings" to the right of Spotty. This will take you to a page where you have instructions on finalizing the spotty install. It will tell you to start playing Spotify from your phone or tablet, then once playing, look on that device for available players icon. Click on this, and one of the options should be to authorize your LMS to work with Spotify.
Once you've done all this, you should be able to go into LMS (or an app that controls LMS), choose "my apps", look for Spotty, chose it, then you can see your Spotify playlists, saved artists, albums, etc. You can browse these, click and play through any player connected to your LMS. Note, there is also a way to setup Spotify Connect with the plugin (instructions are on same page mentioned above).
