The app is a simple web-view wrapper. Benefits: - Is an app with its own icon - You don't see the Chrome warning about insecure site when entering text - Chrome warns because LMS is accessed via HTTP, not HTTPS - Hardware volume buttons - Shows above lockscreen - if its the active app when screen locked - Can keep screen on - Auto-discover LMS servers Jeddie wrote: > And how do you get the app on your phone? Android should prompt about installing. I have submitted the app to f-droid, but have heard nothing back in over a month... *Material debug:* 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json 2. Open browser's developer tools 3. Open console tab in developer tools 4. REQ/RESP messages sent to/from LMS will be logged here. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
