Very close now. They are MPEG2-TS MP3 stream which I knew could exist but never seen before and so never tested. The Bordeaux m3u8 (other FIP have 3) had two URL for midifi and lofi both MP3. Other FIP often have 3 (hifi, midfi & lofi) all AAC. The Bordeaux lofi is a MP3 mono which AFAICT doesn't play on SB player and squeezelite. I need to do some more checking but if the problem is in the squeezelite decoder - then I'll disable the format in PlayHLS and make log entries that the format is unsupported - rather than have users chase "silence" issues.
