SSL update is not necessarily tied to Perl version but often tied to OS version and also to OpenSSL and Perl module Net::SSLeay LMS has an update for Perl 30.X for Linux systems in July 2019 - not sure whether this support is included in MAC build. AFAIK Perl version included in Mac is tied to OS versionb and there are separate issues about running LMS on recent Mac update.
