When I use an MMS stream the obvious initial difference is that the
handler used is : Slim::Player::Protocols::MMS - which is obviously one
of the built in ones. Is there any way the plugin may be registered
incorrectly ? All of the install notes seem to assume that everything
slimserver related is under /usr/local - on ubuntu it is /usr/share.

Finally the command line mplayer -v etc. works fine - I can hear it
playing on my box upstairs with it's tinny speakers.
