Strange - I did test with LMS generated m3u files and had no problems. 
The "ssp" content is for playlists saved in the special playlist
directory. Not sure why there is a special "ssp"  - it seems to be
needed to hide playlist under some circumstances.
This is going to take time to reproduce, test and fix which I won't have
until weekend.
