Besides network congestions/overload there is a similar Windows XP issue but normally only happens on "Listen Again" streams and very rarely on live streams. Although you have the problem on live streams, it is worth trying the fix if you also match the following.
It usually only occurs on systems either where the (a) the internet link has long delays - typically a satellite link or (b) to "optimise" network downloads/interactions, the Windows registry TCP parameters have been modified either by the user or by an applications. Is any of the above true for your systems ? The fix is detailed below but has the side effect that "Listen Again" will take 20-30 secs to start instead of 2-5 secs. 1. Stop Slimserver 2. Backup custom-convert.conf file in /Program Files/SlimServer/server/Plugins/Alien directory assuming you are using standard Slimserver directory. 3. Edit custom-convert.conf using Wordpad. Remove all "-bandwidth 10000000" from the command lines in the file. Save the file. 4. Restart Slimserver and try problematic stations.
