[Sound of penny dropping] I hadn't thought that way. I was always thinking well the car/USB didn't have "/volume1/Music/AC-DC/...." as a directory structure - but yes, I use MediaMonkey to copy my files to the USB, and this gives me the option to set the root path for the music to be copied to. Thanks.
