Editing posts does not work for me, so a new answer:
I've increased the audio buffer settings for the Baggen from 1000 ms to
1370 ms and it start playing distorted. Still a lot of messages in the
log file:

So next try with 1380 ms audio buffer and voila: it works :)
Changed the buffer to 1500 ms: plays fine, too.
