Sorry about my persistence, it genuinely was out of oblivion. Grateful you had another look. That sounds perfect to me, I'd only use this on tracks from the local library. I was about to say "even the path would do", as I could also uniquely identify tracks with it on my side, but it would be more picky to pass through an URL parameter, so if you can take the extra step of getting the ID, I'd rather have that.
