If you have no genres from this file, then this 'restrict genres' should have no effect. *Only* if you have tracks with genres in here will it affect things. e.g. if this file has "[Rock, Metal]" but you play a classical track, then the genre filtering will not happen. As stated, setting log level to DEBUG will show what filtering is happening per-track. *Material debug:* 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json 2. Open browser's developer tools 3. Open console tab in developer tools 4.
