Just checked, and it's broken. I implemented way back in v0.5.3 - just tried that version, and it too is broken. Odd. Will fix for 1.8.7 *Material debug:* 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json 2. Open browser's developer tools 3. Open console tab in developer tools 4.
