I've never found a use for spotify but my son has a (free) account and would like to play his music through a squeezebox boom which I've put in his room. Is there a quick setup guide anywhere? I can see an 'official' spotify plugin but can't see any options to configure it, and a 'spotty' plugin that I'm not sure is also needed?
The "official" implementation has been shut down by Spotify a few years ago. Spotty is the way to go nowadays. But it won't work with a free account.
