Last question... why can't you just leave your SB always on, and always playing through a normal, non-switched outlet? When a room wants SB music they just pick the SB source and it's already kicking. I'm not sure the power consumption difference with having it constantly playing, but it's probably not that bad since the VFD display, optical out, etc are always powered on anyways.
