I have been connecting to an Access Point Router in my House with a Raspberry Pi Wireless for about 6 years now. It has been flawless. Today, I reset the router to factory settings (Due to an unrelated problem). When I re-configured the router to my original settings, I used the same SSID and Password for both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Bands. Upon rebooting my network, all of my Wireless devices connected to the Re-Set Router with no Problems, except for the aforementioned Raspberry Pi. It will connect and play just fine to another Access Point Router on my Network. When I try to Connect to Router in PiCorePlayer, I enter the SSID and Password and I don't get any error message, but at the IP Address line it just states "Wifi IP: is missing - [Reboot] or [Save] to connect." - I currently have it playing on a much weaker Access Point located in a more distant Room.
This is somewhat coincidental as I have been helping a Raspberry Pi/PiCorePlayer newbie over the phone and we also cannot connect to his Router Wireless. He is getting the same message. And of course his other devices Laptop, Tablet, Phone etc have no problems. I do have the latest and greatest PiCorePlayer and LMS Server installed. --- It just seems like it is memorizing something from my router before I did a Factory Reset... I have a half dozen other devices that I did not have to touch after I configured the router. Any Ideas? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cut-Throat's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=43167 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112825 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
