Oh dear. There's a lot of sense in getting them a Pi. I could get it set up at home and deliver it ready to go, and they don't need their PC on all day for their use. I've resisted so far as every interaction I've had with linux has been frustrating, to put it politely, & it'll eat my time. There's a whole raft of things I'd have to learn (off topic here, but including accessing their pi from my home, editing tags on it, etc). My home pc is on most of the time as I work from home so I use that, though I used to have a little atom-powered pc for music. I'll have to think!
