How did you find out that it was "been streaming all weekend"? Squeezelite stops streaming if you turn out the player. It does not really make sense to stop everything when exiting the app. The app is just a controller, so the player is not supposed to stop as the TV is also not supposed to stop after you put aside your remote... I don't really get the problem.
