No, I don't have the wunderground functionality active. In fact, the
only feature I use is the weather report. I'm located in Canada, so I
use CAXX0518 for weather.com.

If you give me some guidance, I'm happy to troubleshoot this on my
system. I run a Linux FC6 installation.

In my mind, there are a couple candidates for the memory growth:

- Timer management
- Weather forecast fetch
- Weather forecast formatting/display
- Time formatting/display

Let's start with the weather as the most likely candidate. What's the
least intrusive way to disable the weather forecast fetch, but leave
the weather forecast formatting/display active? (IOW let the code fetch
the weather once or twice, but leave the weather display active.)
