Are you playing Tidal AAC streams? Reason for asking is that the Boom and AFAIK also the Duet cannot play AAC streams natively, while piCorePlayer 6.1.0 can. When playing Tidal AAC streams on the Booms and the Duet, transcoding from AAC to FLAC (or MP3) is done on LMS, while pCP does not need transcoding. So the stutter that you experience with Booms and Duet may have something to do with the transcoding. Possible explanations may be that the hardware on which LMS runs is not powerfull enough, or that the bandwidth of the Wifi connection is not sufficient for reliable streaming of FLAC streams.
