The longer answer is ... it can work after a fashion if you player http://lms:9000/stream.mp3 where lms is the hostname or IP address of your LMS system.
You should then see a new player appear in the list of players in LMS ... and you can queue things to it and they might even play (depending on what your browser does with audio content).
