Hi Felix Yes, the problems I am having are exactly as you described. Yes, all four test buttons work but none on the remote (apart from very occasionally the volume will respond). The volume bar on the SB remains at my preset level of 90. The only other "none standard" plugin I have is AlienBBC.
That said, I tried your universal configuration and with this neither the remote nor the test buttons work! Perhaps it is just not meant to be with this stereo!
