I highly recommend you consider piCorePlayer, a very lightweight Linux
OS dedicated to making it easy to install the Squeezelite virtual player
and/or LMS on a PI. I'm totally unfamiliar with the options for using it
with a display, but I know there are options. A web browser may or may
not be one of those options. You can find out a lot more at
https://www.picoreplayer.org and in appropriate threads in the Linux
forum here. The most recent release thread is the one announcing version
6.0.0. I think you'll find that many have done what you plan and will be
able to offer advice. I only use pCP as a player, so there's not much
more I can say, and it doesn't need to be said in the Material thread
anyway!

LMS 8 nightly; 3 Squeezelite players connected by powerline ethernet; 5
wireless players connected via Airplay Bridge; 1 SqueezeAmp player
no high-end or esoteric audio gear
1 Squeezebox Radio (upgraded UE Smart Radio) now mostly retired
