OK, thanks for that! I can confirm using my unpatched mplayer it will be too slow. So it seems I will need to
1) get hold of mplayer 1.0pre 8, since that is what flipflip's patches apply to - unless flipflip's patches won't break 1.0RC1? 2) apply to the mplayer source flipflip's mplayer patches from http://oinkzwurgl.org/diskstation 3) apply to the mplayer source the fixed point patches from your previous post at http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=34178&highlight=AlienBBC+arm%2A 4) configure mplayer using ./configure --disable-mencoder --language=en --disable-jpeg --disable-gif --disable-tga --disable-liblzo --disable-tv --disable-dvb --disable-sdl --disable-pnm --disable-xvid --disable-toolame --disable-mad --disable-png --disable-vm --enable-md5sum --disable-menu --charset=US-ASCII --disable-dvdread --disable-mpdvdkit --disable-dvdnav --disable-dvdread-internal --disable-libdvdcss-internal 5) make and make install mplayer 6) try to see if mplayer is now going to be fast enough 7) change AlienBBC's custom-convert.conf as per flipflip's version. -- rmcubed ------------------------------------------------------------------------ rmcubed's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11434 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=35014 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
