Makes the wife happy -- Sam, that's great to hear! For the brightness, take a look at the Auto Display plugin (often called AutoDim): http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.cgi?PluginServerUtilities It will let you have the Squeezebox brightness automatically dim to a certain level at 10pm, and then revert to the regular/previous brightness at 8am. I use it to make all my Squeezebox displays go dark at night, and come back to life in the morning. More domestic tranquility pitches -- if your wife, like mine, likes the bedroom clocks set "fast", check out my FuzzyTime plugin. I never would have gotten a Squeezebox in the bedroom, well, not using a screensaver that displays the time of day, without FuzzyTime. -Peter -- peterw http://www.tux.org/~peterw/ free plugins: http://www.tux.org/~peterw/#slim BlankSaver BottleRocket FuzzyTime SaverSwitcher SleepFade StatusFirst VolumeLock ------------------------------------------------------------------------ peterw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2107 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=35067 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
