Just an update since my last post. Really just informational, but may be of some use to others. This relates to the issue of podcasts (never music) played through the Spotty app dropping after 9-14 minutes.
My LMS server is a ECS BAT-MINI2 commonly know as a LIVA X. It uses an Intel Celeron N2808 @ 1.58GHz CPU, has 2 GB RAM, and a 29GB SanDisk DF4032 (SATA SSD) on the motherboard. Its running Window 10 Pro 64 bit Version 20H2. I added a 250GB Samsung 860 EVO SSD to a mSATA slot on the motherboard to store my music files. Except for this one issue, it has been running various versions of LMS flawlessly for almost five years, currently LMS 8.1.0-1607151260 with Spotty 4.4.5 and Reliable 0.18.1. It is connected via cable to my main router providing internet connectivity. Thinking that this device may have some corrupted software or flaky hardware, I built an identical LIVA X. Same issue with the podcasts dropping occurred. I then installed LMS, Spotty, and Reliable on a bit more modern Dell OptiPlex desktop and a Dell latitude laptop running Windows 10 64 bit with the same results. Podcasts dropped after 9-14 minutes. I installed LMS, Spotty, and Reliable on a Raspberry Pi 4 B running the latest version of Raspbian and it worked perfectly. No dropping. I installed the latest version of SparkyLinux on the LIVA X from above with LMS, Spotty, and Reliable and it also worked perfectly. No dropping. At this point, I guess my best solution is to move my server to Linux. I don't feel bad about that at all. Thanks to all who weighed in on this and tried to help.
