I doubt someone will get it right in the end. As Johan already pointed out, Synology doesn't use standard build Perl. https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?p=959000 Also testing all arch will be difficult as testers are hard to find for some archs. Minor issue but worth mentioning: major updates like these split the Syno users in 2 groups, they who don't updated and those who do. Meaning, this will double the amount of work to please everyone. And to be honest: I doubt its worth the hassle to even try to keep LMS alive on the Syno: there are very good (or even better) alternatives to run LMS, like RPi, Picore as you alway say ;-).
