You are right, being able to download nightly builds for LMS works well
and is a good solution. Using Git for the material plugin/skin however
makes it easy to keep up-to-date on what Craig is working on, to test
his changes, and to be able to easily and quickly switch back and forth
between branches, release and master for example.
