I should have remarked that my experience has been with LMS 8.0.1. A point of detail that had passed me by. I installed LMS 8.1 on a 'spare' server this morning (macOS - plenty power). And I think that I might have experienced something of the same. As in a certain amount of stuttering at the start of the stream. I'm not particularly aware of micro-stuttering, but possibly... I'll keep my Radio playing out on LMS 8.1 today in an attempt to see how matters proceed.
