Mine converts to 705kbps CBR to FLAC, which I think is the standard setting. Since Spotify does 320k max (which IMO sounds awesome for well recorded albums, and with badly recorded ones it doesn't matter anyhow) I doubt anyone will hear a difference by up-scaling to PCM at the traditional 1.4Mbps.
