Well, a quick look at Slim:Utils:Scanner:Remote is very suggestive.
Anything ending in -aac- is deemed to be so even if the scan shows that
it is -mp3- !

I suspect that this 'override' is the cause, but needs confirmation. The
change for bug 3396 was made in 2010, I would think by now all streaming
servers are reporting a correct -Content-Type-. So, perhaps the
'override' can, now, be safely removed.

I don't think one can ever know for sure, but I think I would now be
minded have more faith in the reported Content-Type than perhaps I might
have been in 2010.
