OK - found the debug flag and it did generate the TrackStat log messages. But - you were right - the urls of the files in the backup file had an old path to my music library in it (two different old paths, actually). So, I edited the backup file and replaced the old paths with the current one, restored and everything came back fine. Thanks very much for your help. Also, these are great plugins (the "songs not rated not recently played" dynamic playlist is my default usage of the slimserver right now).
