If the order is changed after SlimServer rescan the problem is that SlimServer works this way. The TrackStat plugin will solve this problem by storing the "added time" persistent the first time a track is scanned, the TrackStat information also survives rescan. However, I don't think there is a menu template available for using the TrackStat info for the New Album menu yet. For menus created through Multi Library plugin you should instead use the "Show in home menu" option which is available in the configuration page for each library in the Multi Library plugin.
