Quick FYI ...
In the end I decided to leave it as it is because the Fire TV Stick has
its own screensaver that kicks in after a configurable amount of
minutes.
So the listener / viewer can watch changing views of landscapes around
the world and then when something is playing that they want to see track
info about they can simply click on the remote to be taken back into the
web view.
There are a few anomalies using the Silk browser (e.g. not able to
scroll down through long biographies in MAI) but overall it is pretty
good.
However, I suspect it will be something to show off to guests ("Look at
what I can do with my TV") rather than something that is used every day
when playing music.
