2) By using Pushcut it is possible to trigger an URL. So we could create HTML pages that would telnet into LMS CLI. Unfortunately this is beyond my skillset :-) Anyone know how to create such HTML pages?
Don't know Pushcut (though I quickly looked it up after it's been mentioned here...). But it seems you can do POST requests. Which means you could use all of the CLI commands through http://yourserver:9000/jsonrpc.js. No need for a custom server and telnet.
