Looking into the plugin.pm and the slim.conf files I guess that writing a new plugin taking inspiration from the IRBlaster would be the easiest way to get this done. Using LIRC codes could be an option, but since the d_ir in debugging mode of the Slimserver provides me with codes in a different format for every remote control read by the Squeezebox I would like to use that format. Anyone inhere with knowledge on how to translate the two format of codes to each other?
