The reason I was looking for a setting in squeezelite was what was said
in post #6 of this thread;

My PiCore Player is just a player, LMS runs elsewhere on my network.
This issue raised its head when I experienced a power failure. Compared
to the time it takes my router to boot the PiCore Player has been fully
up for ages. The wait time for the router would be quite long, but that
long wait would only be required when my whole network and devices are
booting at the same time. I've decided that since the original illusive
setting I was looking for seems to not exist I'll use the "-m" method
and hard code the MAC address. This way I won't be dependent on some
timer hoping the router gets its boot done before the timer expires.
