To prevent people from sharing their username and password Sirius limits the number of times you can login each day. Each time you log into Sirius a cookie is created on your browser. This cookie is good until you log in again from a different computer. Count the plugin as an additional browser that also gets a cookie.
If you ONLY use the plugin or a single web browser on a specific computer a single cookie can last for months. I'm guessing if you reached the limit you're either sharing your login with someone else, or you've been using both the plugin and a web player many times throughout a day.
