One thing you can do to help since I don't own a Mac is this: Open up a web browser and goto: http://localhost:10002/api/songs?extended
Find the section for one of the songs that is behind a symbolic link and post in this thread: - The path on your disk where the song really is - The section for the song from the web page you got when going to the address specified above (the section should be about 10-15 rows) I think it might be possible to solve this specific case pretty easy in TrackStat since the SlimServer and MusicIP actually are using music files from the same place. The situation would have been worse if you were running SlimServer and MusicIP on different OS or different computers. As it sounds, the paths aren't mapped/converted in TrackStat in your case. So it sounds like SlimServer and MusicIP just handles symbolic links differently. Have you specified anything in the MusicIP related settings in the TrackStat section of Server Settings/Plugins ? -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.homeip.net) 'My download page' (http://erland.homeip.net/download) (Developer of 'TrackStat, SQLPlayList, DynamicPlayList, Custom Browse, Custom Scan, Custom Skip, Multi Library and RandomPlayList plugins' (http://wiki.erland.homeip.net/index.php/Category:SlimServer)) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=35931 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
