Did you install it as an update available within Package Center (through configuration of the community repositories), or was the 8.0.1 package downloaded separately and manually installed? Should the 1st option be the upgrade process you followed, I guess I will be out of luck in retrieving the 8.0.1 file... By the way, did you manage to update to the latest 8.1.1. or get any info on why the installation is aborted on some NAS?
