Hi Chris, I may well be the odd one out here but for all of its clumsy behaviour I actually really like having the two volumes adjusting together. If the amp volume is going to need to be set initially at my desired highest level (5db for example) it means that there is a 5db bomb waiting to explode should someone else select a different input for zone 2 without me having first turned it off. Currently I alway turn the volume down to a reasonable level unless I am listening intently to something so the amp is usually back down at 65%, or there about, when I leave it unattended. Maybe a switch for the new feature to be on or off?
