I have the same setup: Pi Zero, HiFiBerry DAC+ Zero and piCorePlayer. The Pi Zero seems to run well, connects to my wifi and is visible as a player in my LMS. I used the settings as described above, only difference is that I am running pCP7. I also added the 'dtoverlay=hifiberry-dac' in the config file. Also the HiFiBerry DAC+ Zero seems to function OK, when I use it with a Pi4 with either pCP or HiFiBerryOS it produces excellent sound. But sofar this setup only produces white noise. So any suggestion would be very welcome !!
