I was looking at the plugins and seen a caller ID one at:

http://www.thespicers.net/cid.html

I have mine running on Fedora Core 3. I get a error just running the
1st test line. I can go in minicom and the modem works. I know it does
caller ID because I have it set up to send caller ID to My TiVo Series
1 though the Ethernet.

Here is a copy and paste that my help to show what I typed and what it
does:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] bin]# /sbin/mgetty -x0 -n 2 -s 57600 /dev/ttySHSF0 &

Does any one know what's wrong?

My modem is on /dev/modem alias (symlink) points to /dev/ttySHSF0 so I
have mgetty.config at:

/etc/mgetty+sendfax/mgetty.config

I put the:

# ----- global section -----
#
# Caller ID on SliMP3 box
#
cnd-program /usr/local/sbin/cid.pl
init-chat "" at+vcid=1

When I do at+vcid=1 in minicom it comes back OK.

I don't know what else to do. Maybe I have to reboot?
