I think "2010 A, 2010 B, 2011 A" --> "2011 A, 2010 A, 2010 B" would be better so just changing the sort on 'Year' from ascending to descending in each case. Some people may prefer the existing sort so an option to select by ascending or descending year may be preferable. There are three instances for sorting on 'Year' - the following seems most logical; _Artist,_Year,_Album_ First sort 'Artist' ascending, then sort 'Year' descending, then 'Album' ascending _Year,_Album_ Sort 'Year' descending _Year,_Artist,_Album_ First sort 'Year'' descending, then sort 'Artist' ascending, then sort 'Album' ascending So for the instance you gave (matching _Year,_Album)_ it would become "2011 A, 2010 A, 2010 B" But leave the original as an option as well "2010 A, 2010 B, 2011 A At least that's my take on it. I have no idea how that would impact on Material coding or if it must be done through LMS.
