Continuing from the Spotty 4.5 thread: So now I am on 4.6. And the problem persists, I tried an other player to (squeezebox touch) and the sound is the same. The sound is just crackling noises, and the music is not recognizable at all.
I have tried removing the helper applications from the plugins menu and tried adding both the legacy one, and the ARMv8/aarch64 one. But only the legacy one (the one I listed in the thread) seems to work (when that is not there the Spotty settings page tells me there is a problem finding the helper app). I tried running the different helper apps from command line and all but the legacy fail with errors either illegal instruction or Exec format error (which I believe hints the binary is for the wrong architecture?), this includes the one called spotty-custom you mentioned. I have also enabled flac and pcm for Spotty in the File Types settings. I have also re-entered my account credentials just to be sure. When using the legacy helper, there is no messages in the logs about spotty. In fact, the app seems to act fully like it should except for the sound being wrong. I can search, get cover art and everything. I am not really sure what to try next. Any ideas?
