Since using approx two weeks I am seeing Spotty errors in my linux logfiles once a day. Spotty still works, by apparently something is not 100% ok (fyi: gaula is the hostname of the system).
This looks like some temporary connectivity hiccup. The spotty helper application seems to fail to connect to some remote system. When you say this happens once a day, is it always around the same time?
