Thank you for the immediate respond. The problem is not the 'Albums'
menu itself; it concerns the submenus in the 'Libraries' menu of the
CustomScan plug-in. To point more precisely to the following questions,
I'll try to explain it by means of a sample-folder-organisation on
physical disk (HD):

Music

_ _ - 10cc
_ _ _ - The Very Best

SlimServer built-in function:
-----------------------------
Using the SlimServer built-in function, to browse the folders shows
exactly the structure as described above. 'Jump to a Letter' by
pressing the number keys works.

CustomScan Plug-in:
------------------
Browsing 'Libraries' with the CustomScan plug-in presents 'levels' of
choice grouped by letters (1.Level) and Artists, Albums or Genres
(2.Level):
1.Level: #, A, B, C, Classical, D, ...
2.Level: Artist, Albums, Genres
3.Level: (e.g. 'Artists', for the chosen letter 'A') AC/DC, Aerosmith,
...

The Problem is mainly in 1.Level: The 'Jump to a Letter' function by
number keys on my installation does not work as expected. Key '5'
presents the 5th folder, also 'Classical' of my above described
structure, instead of the letter 'J'.

In 2.Level is no need for long jumps anyway, only 3 items! But the
number keys work as in 1.Level. By the Way, why is it in 2.Level not
implemented to browse also by 'Titles'? Are there probably too much
items to select?

On the '3. Level' it works perfect for 'Albums' and 'Genres', the same
Way as the built-in SlimServer function. 'Artists' usually start with
the chosen letter (1.Level); the number keys therefore can not have any
effect on the first letter. What do you think of triggering the second
letter instead, to refine the selection by remote?

Regards,
Marco
