However, if you aren't using the Mixed Tag module, you can enter its settings page in the Custom Scan web interface and turn of automatic rescans of it. I believe that should get rid of the drop-outs problem. If you do this you might also want to click on the "Clear" link besides the Mixed Tag module to remove its data in the database.
