Erland, as always, thanks for your clear and helpful reply. I think I've got it sorted out now -- will try later tonight.

An example of this is shown on a > tutorial on my wiki page called "Add browse menus and information for > classical music to SlimServer" > In passing, let me give kudos for your wiki pages -- they've been extremely helpful in learning how to make your plugins work. To see if I understand what you've said so far, an example from your wiki you refer to above is the section titled "Configure Song Info web page", which adds some info unique to classical music to the song info page. This unique info is limited to classical music by setting the library to classical, right? Also, the object type in this example is trackheader. If I wanted to add similar info unique to classical music but on the artist page, I would change the object type to artistheader, right? > > I agree, I'm not really sure why I added. Personally, as they stand now I don't think the list of artists and albums on the genre pages is very useful. As I said, it seems redundant, since that's the info the page displays anyway. However, a list of "most played" or "highest rated" could be very cool and useful. Maybe limited to just top 5-10 so they only take up a line or two on the page (one of the things the bugs me about the current design is that the album and artist list takes up so much space that you have to scroll down in the web page to see much of the desired list of matching artists.) As always, thanks for your great work. -Steve -- wnshall ------------------------------------------------------------------------ wnshall's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5886 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=37442 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
