When you are on the menu "Synchronize" you dont have to look for "slimserver" but for your Squeezebox as you want to synchronize your Softsqueeze with it.
Then it says "synchronize with Squeezebox (or the name of the squeezebox" and shows flash "->", now klick on your remotecontrol the same flash pointing direction right.
