Hmmmm...  I'm not familar with those different accounts, but I'd assume
they should work the same.

Perhaps the plugin has some cached stuff that is getting in the way. 
Try resetting the plugin...

Stop slimserver.
Edit \server\slimserver.pref using a text editor
search for "sirius"
delete any lines containing sirius
save file
restart server
enter in username/password
cross fingers
give it a shot!

Also, for the SS6.5 version of the plugin it's a good idea to re-enter
your password whenever you change ANY setting on that settings page
(even non-sirius settings on that page).
